John Harvey Gray, one of the first accredited masters Mrs. Takata, in 1976, died in January 2011, three months before her 94th birthday.

John Harvey Gray taught thousands of students over 1000 workshops Reiki over 35 years of operation Reiki teacher.

In 2008 John moved his reiki Dynasty wife, Dr. Lourdes Gray, and ordained her as the successor.

John has published, together with his wife, Lourdes, the book "at hand" - Hand-To-Hand , the authentic method of Reiki, as taught by Mrs. Takata.

John also took the light recording of Ms. Takata, under the name "Takata Speaks" - Takata Speaks , which she tells the story of Usui Reiki.
